The University of Michigan strives to contribute positively to the culture Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County. Every day, there are dozens of events that are free and open to the public  drawing visitors to the area. It is impossible to catalogue every cultural draw affiliated with the University of Michigan, but some prominent ones are listed below.

The Ann Arbor Art Fair is the largest juried art fair in the nation, and features nearly 1,000 artists. the University of Michigan is a proud community sponsor of this annual event.

The state-of-the-art Planetarium & Dome Theater at the U-M Museum of Natural History has shows every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
